I spent a lot of time working on a campaign for a new apartment community in Marin County California. The property logo was already established by another designer, so I took what I knew of the property and created a brochure to entice potential residents.
I wanted to format to be long and skinny, with a space for floor plan inserts in a pocket folder to the back of the folder. As well as a foldout map to highlight local amentiies.
Here is the inside spread featuring a rendering of the pool.
I inserted a translucent honeycomb pattern to reinforce the "organic" and classic nature of the property.
In the back of the brochure was a pocket which held staggered floor plan inserts. On the pocket was a slot for the unique 3x3" business cards.
This high end property features 4 unique floor plans, I drew each one from scratch, and added the specs below in a blueprint format.
A fourth insert held a trail map for the nature preserve just outside the property.
Another feature of the brochure was a rollout map which highlighted neighborhood attractions. It was important to show how the property sits in relation to the nature preserve, ferry to San Francisco and nearby Larkspur, CA.
