Brooklyn Art Deco Wedding - Inspired Shoot

It was such a privilege and honor to participate in this beautiful styled shoot featured on the amazing wedding blog, 100 Layer Cake! The shoot took place at Fort Greene Bar in Denver. This classic cocktail bar was the perfect venue for a styled shoot of a bygone era. From the jewel toned walls and floral necklace... yeah you read that right, floral NECKLACE... this shoot was dripping with beauty!

My task was to create a modern spin on an art deco style invitation. I utilized the clean lines and geometry found so often in Art Deco design with modern typography. I kept the jewel tone color palatte of forest green an ochre yellow. Because the theme of this shoot was an elopement, I designed an elopement announcement and an RSVP card for the hell of it!

Did you see the size of that diamond!?! The images are all so beautiful. I'll just stop writing and let you enjoy!

I loved the little detail of adding figs to the place cards I designed.
