Hello and happy Friday! It has been quite awhile since I posted on this here blog. I have some big things coming down the pipeline including new products to the shop, possibly signing up for another half marathon and we will be featured on a Historic Home Tour next month. So yea, life is busy, kids are hard and then it magically slows down one day right?
Well as I type this, a very cool lady and her fiancee are prepping for their California wedding tomorrow! I had the honor of designing her whole invitation suite. From the invites to the menus. I’m not normally a fan of purple, but this suite may have me singing a different tune.
A fun little detail I encouraged the couple to pursue is the wisteria branch belly band. Not only does the band hold all the suite items together, it is basically the jewelry to an invitation suite. Statement earrings on your little black dress. The oversized script font on a diagonal was a fun detail we carried through to the envelopes. It gave this classic vibe a bit of whimsy, straight names are for the birds.
