Hello and happy Friday! It has been quite awhile since I posted on this here blog. I have some big things coming down the pipeline including new products to the shop, possibly signing up for another half marathon and we will be featured on a Historic Home Tour next month. So yea, life is busy, kids are hard and then it magically slows down one day right?
All things green
I don't know if its the spring time weather, or all the plants at Home Depot that have me seeing green lately. One of my summer goals is to revamp our backyard. It is in desperate need of sod, outdoor furniture and general attention. I'll spare you any 'before' photos as its just too tragic right now. In more positive news, I just wrapped up a Eucalyptus theme shower invite. Is eucalyptus the hardest word to spell, or is it just me? When the client sent over her Pinterest board for some green design inspiration, I knew I was going to love working with her on this baby brunch invite. I was so inspired by her pins, I decided to put together my own eucalyptus shower inspiration for you!
And if you are interested in my eucalyptus invitation, here are some more photos. This shower is unique in that it celebrates three out of town mom's to be. So the client asked that I include an insert with registry info, and requesting that guests send items directly to the moms in their home states. Such a smart idea. I could easily see this insert as a "build baby's library" card as well.
Real Wedding - Erin & Ryan
Erin and Ryan were some fabulous clients (and friends!) The two met at my alma mater Texas Tech, and hosted a fabulous wedding at the Space Gallery here in Denver. As the wedding was being held at a gallery, I wanted a modern artsy vibe to the invitations. To set off the geometric pattern, I convinced Erin to splurge on neon green foil. It was totally worth it! I carried the geometric pattern through the program and guest book.
Such a fun venue and couple. Did I mention this wedding was catered by a food truck? Delicious! Add in some custom koozies to tie the whole event together!
Friendsgiving Invitation
Turkey Day is upon us! I was recently contacted to design an invitation for an annual "Friendsgiving." The client requested something funny and country-inspired as her last name is Western. How fun is that?? Here is the invitation design I came up with.
