Working from home with the wee babe.
Well is not every day that a logo gets seen on the world wide web, let alone gets recognition as a best in class. The fine folks at Design Rush were kind enough to reach out and let me know that the logo I designed for Lenox Farms Apartment Homes is up for The Best Real Estate Logo. It will be featured in the design trends section of their website and I am honored to be included.
As you can see above, toiling away on designs with 3 kiddos and an elderly dog at home can be a challenge. I try to manage my work-life balance by:
Getting up before my kids. Its a game changer to sneak in a few sips of coffee before the pitter patter of little feet and a barrage of questions at 7:15am.
After they are deposited at school, I go for a 30-45 minute walk to get some Vitamin D.
Since I have already peeked at my email I have a pretty good idea of what my first task will be, but I also like to have my whole week planned in advance. For more info on this definitely read this blog post on time management!
