2018 Rustic Wedding Trends

2018 Rustic Wedding Trends

Happy fall y’all! With crisp, cool mornings, leaves crunching underfoot, and pumpkin spice flavor around every corner, this is one of my favorite times of the year. Around the studio I’ve been wrapping up wedding details for a fri-ent (friend/client) and adding some fall themed designs to my Etsy Shop.

Hello and happy Friday! It has been quite awhile since I posted on this here blog. I have some big things coming down the pipeline including new products to the shop, possibly signing up for another half marathon and we will be featured on a Historic Home Tour next month. So yea, life is busy, kids are hard and then it magically slows down one day right?

Devin & Teresa's rustic Texas wedding

My handsome cousin and his gorgeous bride were married this summer just outside of San Antonio at Rustic Gardens. The venue is a former nursery, so there are beautiful pockets of gardens all throughout. Teresa wanted a rustic,  slightly country vibe. Her bridesmaids wore neutral dresses with cowboy boots carrying beautiful baby's breath bouquets, and her lace dress was so simple and elegant! She wanted to incorporate fun typography and the slightly country vibe to her invitations. Here is a look at how everything came together.

New Year, new designs!

Hi there! It has been several months since I have posted on this here blog. But I have a good reason, we are now homeowners!

This beauty was built in 1903, and is what they call a traditional Denver Square. It has plenty of charm and exposed brick in my basement studio. What more could a designer ask for? Oh yea, a Trader Joes around the corner. Not too shabby.

I plan to post more pics as we get decorations and some life in to the place. Stay tuned! Otherwise I had a busy 2014. Quite a few of my business goals were accomplished:

1.  Printed New Business Cards on juicy letterpress stock!
2. Participating in my first bridal show with the lovely ladies of A and Be Bridal here in Denver. See photos from the event here!
3. Added more items to the Etsy Shop, including new address stamps and invitations
4. Hired a wonderful photographer to shoot some images of recent invitations. Here is a sneak peek:

Overall 2014 was a great year, both professionally and personally. I hope to work with even more brides on their custom wedding invitations. Contact me today if you are interested in any of the designs you see here, or would like to get started on your own custom wedding invite. Here's to 2015 and big things to come!
