2018 Rustic Wedding Trends

2018 Rustic Wedding Trends

Happy fall y’all! With crisp, cool mornings, leaves crunching underfoot, and pumpkin spice flavor around every corner, this is one of my favorite times of the year. Around the studio I’ve been wrapping up wedding details for a fri-ent (friend/client) and adding some fall themed designs to my Etsy Shop.

New product alert - Shot Glasses!

Well helloooo! This post has been a long time coming as I have been scheming to add new products to my shop for 2 years! Koozies have been my bread and butter for the last few years, but some new items are long overdue. I've slowly been rolling out tote bags and stadium cups, two highly requested items.

And now I'm proud to present.....DRUMROLL.... Shot glasses!! The perfect pint size party favor for a wedding, bachelorette party or birthday. I also think these would be really cute as a back home reception party for anyone eloping or having a destination wedding.

Stay tuned to the Etsy shop as I roll out these new shot glasses. If anyone has a design in mind they don't see in the shop, just shoot me a message. I love custom orders. And there is no extra charge for custom artwork.

Many many thanks to the oh so talented Ashley Kidder Photography for her mad skills. She was able to work with all the small and large products I threw at her with ease. It was a joy to work with her and I'm so pleased with all the images she took!

Wedding Inspiration Wednesday - Navy

Hello hello! I want to start a regular feature around here called "Wedding Inspiration Wednesday." Every week or so, I plan to share wedding tips, color palattes and inspiration for all you engaged (or soon to be engaged) humans out there. Let's kick this navy party off with an Ohio wedding featuring blush pink accents and vintage details.

Square Invitation Featured on Wedding Chicks

Happy Tuesday! I'm delighted to announce a Rook bride was featured on the great inspiration source, The Wedding Chicks. A former coworker and now friend was married in Dallas this spring. She chose a unique venue, The Hickory Street Annex, complete with exposed brick and industrial details to set off her gorgeous flowers. Hedish wanted square invitations with an approachable layout and hand drawn floral details. I came up with this suite:

Barn Wedding Koozies featured on Style Me Pretty

It is so fun to see how brides incorporate Rook wedding koozies in to their overall theme. Andrea, a recent bride of mine was featured on Style Me Pretty and I am so excited she shared photos from her big day. I am drooling over her head table, complete with upholstered wing backs and all the vintage touches.
